Roadsend Run

Life is a journey, where have you gone today?

The running starts on May 5, 2014...

Roadsend Run is a 14000 mile running event sponsored by the Roadsend Charitable Foundation, a non-profit company whose purpose is to raise funds for deserving charities leveraging social media and unique human endurance events. The charity we are working with is Doctors Without Borders. Please visit our event page on their site for details on how to donate.

We are all connected. Even seemingly large geographic distances like the length of the world can be traversed by a person with two legs and a goal. Technology helps us to bridge the gap and to further show us that what seems so disparate and divided is really not. This run will combine techology with the human spirit to push the limits of endurance and help others.

Feel free to contact us at roadsendrun@gmail.com.

The journey starts at the northern-most road end in North America, at Deadhorse Alaska (70.2056° N, 148.5117° W) and ends at the southern-most road end in South America, at Ushuaia Argentina (54.8000° S, 68.3000° W). It will cover over 14,000 miles. A lot of the run will be streamed live to the Internet or we will provide ongoing live still images or messages where communications is sparse. Only 16.5 miles for Thurs 7/17. Ended up at the junction of hwy 16 and 97 in Prince George, BC. Sorry to say that I had to end the expedition early as my wife lost her job and I can no longer fund the expedition.
